Rick Pylant, Chairman of the Board & CEO. (WT)
Rick Pylant is a founding member of the company. He was also a founding member of CoCard,
and had been its President and Chairman since its inception. Mr. Pylant has a background
in accounting, operations, product management and sales. He spent 5 1/2 years at Wachovia
followed by 10 years at Mellon Bank ultimately rising to the National Sales Director for
Mellon Network Services, their merchant processing, ATM driving, debit gateway, and debit
card issuance business, before forming his first ISO, WorldTech, Inc. Two years later, he
founded COCARD with WorldTech as a charter member. In 2004, he became a member of the
Board of Directors for the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), the industry’s trade
association. In 2010, he was elected president of the ETA.
Jon Stevens, President. (EDC)
Jon Stevens is a founding member of the company. He was also a founding member of CoCard,
and was elected to the CoCard Board of Managers and served on the Board since the company’s
inception. Jon has been in the credit card business since 1986, when he co-founded
EDC Processing Services, Inc., an organization which he serves as President. Under Jon’s
leadership, EDC Processing Services, Inc. and its subsidiary, DeerCreek Marketing, Inc. had
grown to represent over 25% of CoCard’s volume, net residuals and new application count.
Todd Stevens, Chief Operating Officer & Secretary. (EDC)
Todd Stevens has been a co-owner and Vice President of EDC Processing Services since January, 2001.
He currently oversees the day to day operations of the business and is responsible for the
sales support and customer service departments. Prior to being in the bank card industry he
spent 10 years running a wholesale seafood distribution business in the Fulton Fish Market in NYC.
He earned his BA in economics from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 1990. He is a member
of several business and social organizations and spends many hours volunteering in the local community.
